You are eligible to become a member of Route 31 Credit Union if you meet the following qualifications:

• If you live, worship, work in, or attend school in any of the following 17 counties; Muskegon, Ottawa, Oceana, Newaygo, Antrim, Benzie, Gratiot, Kalkaska, Lake, Leelanau, Manistee, Mason, Mecosta, Missaukee, Montcalm, Osceola, or Wexford. 
• If you have an Immediate Family Member* or Household Member** that is currently a member.
• If you are a spouse of persons who died within the field of membership of this credit union.
• If you volunteer in any of the counties listed above.
• If you are an employee of Route 31 Credit Union.
• If you are a business or legal entity located in the rural district of any of the counties listed above.

*For membership purposes, “immediate family member” is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, great grandparent, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew. This definition also includes “step” and adoptive relationships.

**For membership purposes, “household” is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit. In other words, cohabitants.
